The art gallery exhibits popular paintings of the famous Raja Ravi Varma (1848 ? 1906) and his uncle Raja Raja Varma. Raja Ravi Varma's work was internationally recognized and appreciated.

Located at a distance of around 5 Km from Kozhikode, Lokanarkavu Bhaghawathi Temple is dedicated to goddess Durga.
