Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery

Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery is a complete treasure trove for those who have keen interest in history and art. The art gallery exhibits popular paintings of the famous Raja Ravi Varma (1848 ? 1906) and his uncle Raja Raja Varma. Raja Ravi Varma's work was internationally recognized and appreciated.
Managed by? State Archaeology Department, the museum displays different types of artwork, which includes mural paintings, models of temples, antique bronzes, umbrella stones, ancient coins dolmenoid cists and many other megalithic monuments.

Lokanarkavu

Located at a distance of around 5 Km from Kozhikode, Lokanarkavu Bhaghawathi Temple is dedicated to goddess Durga. The temple has two other shrines, out of which one is dedicated to Lord Shiva and other one is to Lord Vishnu. The legends of the region indicate that the temple is approximately 1500 old. Beautifully engraved with murals and paintings, three rock cut caves are the main attractions of the place.
